Offered by UP INC. in partnership with the Webb Community Foundation.
The Mother’s Helper Program connects expecting parents and families with infants (0–6 months old) to caring support that eases daily challenges and builds community. Spaces are limited. Priority is given to families who meet the listed criteria, however we still encourage families to apply regardless.
THIS APPLICATION FORM IS CONFIDENTIAL AND REVIEWED SOLELY BY A REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER/PERINATAL THERAPIST
More information about the home visits:
Whether you want help with house chores, someone to sit down and have coffee/tea with or go on walks with you so you can get outside, or even a chance to catch up on sleep while your kids are taken care of, we believe it is important to have consistent support in the comfort of your own home while you adjust to parenting. Our pilot program will allow moms from 0-6 months postpartum weekly 2hr visits from our trained peer worker for 3 months followed by biweekly or monthly visits for 3 months - allowing you to rest, recover, adjust, and enjoy your fourth trimester. Intakes will be conducted virtually with a perinatal therapist.
We expect spots to fill up fast! We have quarterly intake periods per year - your due date (if pregnant) will determine your intake period - you will be placed on the waiting list for the intake period closest to your due date.
Program Retainer
This program is provided to you at no cost. However, to help ensure commitment to the program, we ask each family to provide a $100 refundable retainer. This will be due at the start of your intake. Families will receive their retainer back in full after completing 80% of the scheduled home visits. If you have any concerns about the retainer, please let us know — we want this program to remain accessible to all families while also ensuring appointments are kept.
Please fill out this application form to be considered.
